Re: Statement of Compliance – QSP Application
On behalf of Newstars Futbol Academy, we submit this document in support of our application to become a Quality Soccer Provider (QSP). The following declarations affirm our compliance with the standards and requirements set forth by Ontario Soccer and Canada Soccer:
1. Member in Good Standing
Newstars Futbol Academy confirms that it is a Member in Good Standing with its governing organizations, including the Peel Halton Soccer Association and Ontario Soccer.
This status confirms that Newstars Futbol Academy:
- Has no outstanding fees or disciplinary actions;
- Actively participates in sanctioned leagues and events;
- Complies with all membership obligations under the relevant governing organizations.
2. Compliance with By-laws, Policies, and Directives
Newstars Futbol Academy acknowledges and complies with all current By-laws, Policies, and Directives of:
- Ontario Soccer
- Canada Soccer
- Peel Halton Soccer Association
We regularly review updated policies to ensure our board members, coaches, and administrative staff remain fully informed of all governance expectations.
Our signed Policy Compliance Checklist is included with this application as required.
3. Registration of All Participants
Newstars Futbol Academy registers all players, coaches, match officials, and team staff through Ontario Soccer’s approved registration platform (OSCAR).
We ensure that:
- No participant takes part in any club activity without valid registration;
- All participant data is accurately maintained in accordance with Ontario Soccer regulations;
- Registration is completed prior to the start of each season and updated as required.
4. No Interaction with Non-Member Organizations
Newstars Futbol Academy confirms that it does not interact with, nor participate in, events hosted by non-member or unsanctioned organizations unless prior written approval has been obtained from Ontario Soccer or our District Association.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Non-sanctioned leagues or tournaments;
- Training partnerships or facility rentals associated with non-member organizations;
- Friendly matches against non-sanctioned teams.
This policy is strictly upheld by our administrative team to ensure compliance with Ontario Soccer’s membership framework.
